Season’s Change
The whiteness around us continues to fall.
The leaves are gone taken from the trees.
The coldness off the night chills us all.
The season roles in with a solemn breeze.
The snowy days and the snowy nights.
The snow banks stacked higher than a kite.
The lawns used to be green but now are white.
The streets all covered with a thin sheet of ice.
The outside lay dry, wet, and cold.
The greenery around is completely gone.
The winter is now getting long and old.
The sun comes up late and marks a new days dawn.
The first sign of warmth in several months.
The snow is melted and spring is now upon us.
