Anyone know where i can find music by Sonny Moore. It is skrillex original name for those who don't know.

I cant find songs by him (under that name) on itunes.

I think you're talking about sonny's solo work before working under the name Skrillex?


He just called himself Sonny, not Sonny Moore. The album on iTunes is called Gypsyhook.

He started out as a singer in FFTL. that is screamo.


then he made music under sonny. that is what i posted. kind of weird electronic stuff.


now he currently makes dubstep under skrillex

we all know that tools like you love to point out that skrillex isn't actually dubstep. but for all intents and purposes, people know him as a dubstep artist. regardless of whether or not that's accurate, it's just easier to call him one.



or my meter is broken and you were sarcastically mocking the people who flip every time somebody says skrillex is dubstep.

No I am not making fun of them, I am one of them. Dubstep is a minimalistic, dark form of UK garage with heavy dub influences that started in "underground" clubs in east london. Skrillex makes shitty over the top electro at 140 bpms with a lot of reverb and calls it dubstep. It is in no way dubstep, nothing that americans call dubstep is true to the genre. It shouldn't be called dubstep, it is completely different. Call it brostep, heavy electro, what ever you want, but do not refer to him as a dubstep dj/producer, he has single-handedly done more harm to the identity of the genre then anyone else.

I know what dubstep is, and i know Skrillex isn't actually real dubstep.


but trying to point it out every single time somebody says Skrillex is dubstep is gonna be a lost cause, there's no point.
