Question about shipping in general

So if it says USPS "attempted a delivery" to my PO Box, does that mean that they left the package there?

i've had it happen before where they 'attempted delivery' at my home when i was home, but they actually just never showed up. just call them with your tracking number and they can tell you if they need your signature amongst other things.
