People didn't know scissoring existed before 2003. I remember trying to learn how to 270 off rails at High North then and the coaches never said just angle your front foot. It was hard. Think back to movies from this time and earlier. It just didn't happen. I'm convinced people literally didn't know it was possible. I would guess it began sometime around 06?

iannick b did the most progressive tricks, still timeless, but he was pre-pretzel.

ahmet did the first "silly" switch up from what i re-collect. (270 on pretzel switchup)

the dadali brothers most likely took this to 3 swap since giray slayed all
