CMC is a community college. i don't think they'll have a very top notch computer engineering program.

Do not pick a college based on whether you can ski or not. College is 4 or 5 years of your life, the rest of which you can spend skiing. Step one is get a good job.

This is annoying when people say this. It is possible to go to a good college and be close to very good skiing. They are not mutually exclusive.

yes. don't go here for engineering. if you are wanting to go to school somewhat close to skiing in colorado go to boulder or mines. they both have well respected engineering programs and are close enough to the mountains.

true, but you shouldnt think that being able to ski all the time will make up for you not really liking the school. If i could do it over again, i would go to a school in the SEC. I would still get 30 days in when i come home for breaks.

it's also the best years of your life, you totally want to spend those years doing what makes you happy, sometimes stress mounts up and it's hard to keep things positive in college, getting on the hill is a great escape from real life

very true...but skiing isn't known as a rich white mans sport for no reason. To really get some serious days on the hill you need to be fairly well off. aka vacation house on the weekends
All times are Eastern (-5)
