Depends what you want it for, oakley have horrible customer relations and build quality so don't expect them to last compared to smith, which have excellence in both.
Smith IO's are far cheaper especially if you get one from last season.

I was thinking about both of them and i was leaning towards the i/o's cause i can save like 70 bucks and get another lens for that

dont quote me on this, but i think airbrakes come with a spare lense. but you should go with what ever fits your face the best.

airbrake are more expensive and new. I/O already has a good reputation but not the airbrake. it depends if you like the out riggers or not

you sir are retarded. I've had my crowbars for 3 years and they are still in 9/10 shape. Dont post if you dont know what you are talking about.

On another note, Im getting all black airbrakes with the grey iridium and hi-yellow lens. Stoke factor is pretty high.

you are an idiot dont say bad things about a company without justifying ... oakley makes high-end goggles, they always did! As for customer relations, i have had only wonderful encounters with the staff.

I love that Oakley answered Smiths brilliance of the I/0 and came out with the Airbrake. But i'm going to stick with my I/O's becuase they fit perfectly on my face and under the brim of my helmet. so try both on and get what you like more.

In all fairness, Smith Didn't do anything that the paintball industry hadn't already done years ago with quick changeable lens systems.

In my eyes smith still has the profitable idea because the airbrakes are still harder to use the the smith I/o but that just may be me. And great point about the paintball. Plus smith optics r used for combat around the world and interchangeable lenses have been used for years

I really like both the I/o and the airbreak, but Im getting the APX this year!  Super sick design in my opinion.  I don't think you can go wrong with any of these goggles though.  EG2 APX I/O AIRBREAK
Theyre all awesome goggles!

yes they are customizable like the splice/crowbar, ive taken the strap out and the riggers will definitely come out, whoeve up there said that i/o's are easier to use (changing lens im guessing) wrong, it  takes me actually 3 seconds to change the lens, with i/o probably about 20.

I don't get why it is that big of a deal how fast you can change the lens when its a matter of seconds.  Do people really take their extra lens and change them out between runs?
