Here are some good salads:
Steve's Super Duper Salad
I used whatever I could find to make this,
Ingredients:
- 1 Carrot
- 1 Stalk of Celery
- 2 leaves of lettuce (more or less)
- 1 chicken breast
- 1 tbsp sliced almonds
- Some cheeeese (I used Marble)
- Ranch Dressing
What ta do:
Put the chicken breast on a microwaveable plate and put in the microwave for 10 minutes on 'defrost' setting (if frozen) -or- leave it out on a plate until defrosted.
While shit's defrosting, slice your carrot and celery into small pieces. Then Slice your lettuce into small strips.
Cut your cheese up into little blocks, cheese is good. mm.
Now put all your lettuce / carrots / celery / cheese / almonds into a fairly big bowl. Your chicken should be done depending on how long that took you. Put your bowl of salad in the fridge.
Now, cut the chicken up into fairly small pieces (leave some of it to cut into long strips). Fry it all with some Onion Salt & Pepper.
When your chicken is brown and is cooked on the inside, scoop it out of the frying pan and into paper towel. Put the chicken in the fridge for 5 minutes or so so it cools down, if not, the hot chicken will slightly melt your cheese and warm everything up, nasty.
After that, put the small pieces of chicken into your salad, mix it all up, then put the strips over top like in the McDonalds commercials. Sprinkle on some ranch dressing lightly (you won't need alot of dressing).

Rad Greek Salad My Mom Makes
Ingredients
- Spirally Noodle Things
- Olives
- Cucumber
- Tomato
- Feta Cheese
- Greek Dressing (Italian would work)
Directions
Bowl those little noodles that are like a screw, you know, them things.
In the meantime, cut your olives in half, slice your cucumber, cut your feta cheese into little blocks and cut up your tomato. Put it all in a bowl and put it in the fridge.
When your noodles are soft, dump em onto a strainer and then dump the noodles into your salad. Give it a stir and put back in the fridge so the noodles can cool down.
If you don't want to wait for cooling, you can probably run cold water over your noodles or something when they're in the strainer.
When everything is cool, put on as much greek dressing as you need to lube it up, and eat. The olives and feta cheese give it some great flavour while the cucumber and tomato don't make you fat and fill you up, the noodles are there for texture and damn good taste.
Ultra-Basic
Ingredients:
- Carrot or Celery or both, maybe lettuce if you want
- Some kind of Dressing
Do this:
For carrot only, shred the carrot, then apply your dressing of choice.
For Celery only, chop it up into itty bitty pieces and add dressing.
For Carrot and Celery and Lettuce, slice it all into itty bitty pieces and put dressing on it.
Yep, Salad is good. My parents have been gone for 1 1/2 weeks and I got tired of pizza and found lettuce in the fridge so I made salad. It was DAMN good too.
