the original "The Thing" by John Carpenter is pretty scary, if you haven't seen it and like old-school scary movies i highly recommend

Rob Zombie's Halloween is pretty fuckin scary. Texas Chainsaw Massacre with Jessica Biel is good. Also, I think the Descent was pretty damn creepy.

im thinking of this movie that took place in the woods west virginia or something.. all i remember was this hot chick got her mouth slit open by razor wire, and some other people slept in a fire tower but they creepy rednecks burned it down... body parts in jars at their cabin...   any help???
