This is going to kill the creativity of some kids. Parents will buy them the pass, and they will only ever use that.

I can see this turning into thousands of Mt. Hood edits with the EXACT same angles over and over again, it's just going to piss people off.

and yes this, in theory is a cool idea. not too sure how i feel about it.

same angles, no creativity. aren't edits supposed to be unique to the individuals, not just cookie cutter shots?

Not everyone is lucky enough to have someone who wants to put in the time, effort, and expensive of filming them. If you want to go up and work on some tricks, this would be awesome. You could see what you were doing well, and you could share your work. This is certainly not a replacement for talented filmers, but it is a cool option to have.

cool concept but terrible angles, I could see if you made had a cable cam or something but good edits come from creative shots and angles, stationary shots just don't cut it

This is never going to replace filmers that are out there making creative edits. It is just a tool that can be used, you can add footage to edits, or use it to track your progression, and use it as a training tool. If you don't have a filmer out that day you can go home and watch yourself, see your style etc.

To get your footage you log onto feralmotion.com and all your shots are right there.

I for one think this could be a great system. As stated, not everyone has a friend who is willing to film, so being able to at least see what some of the thing you did in a day would be great.
