good news for NY

i heard that NY city might get the 2012 summer olympics but i think they should do it somwhere else than the city because its already hectic traffic and shit so imagine how its gonna be but my dad made a point of saying nowhere else could really handle the big airplanes and shit and all of the hotels but of course some of hte stuff is going to be outside of the city sooo uhh im hoping carly patterson decides to be a 3 time olympian so i get to see her lol but yeah just thought id share this info with you guys

No way... Atlanta, 1996, and only three olympics later, again for the USA? New York city is a cool choice, but for a later year. Other countries have to have a chance.

Plus Salt Lake in 2002...

NY could so handle the Olympics granted the Jets get their stadium built to hold stuff like the track and field events. Traffic--eh its not gonna be anything we cant already handle. As a fellow New Yorker, and from the Bronx, the City can handle the Olympics. But mmmmmmmm Carly Patterson.... now thatd be something!!!

central park is 5 miles long and 3 wide....theres some stadiums right there.
theres only one stadium built in the city of athens for this olympics so they could def put shit out side of ny(and they prolly will)
and nyc will get the 12 olympics because of the terrorists and all that shit.

alanta in 96 is a good point, and it will be such a high volume area, terrorism will be the biggest concern ever, NYC will prolly get offered, but somewhere else will win im thinking....bring back winter olypmpic to lake placid
