Most Viewed Video Section?

So i know there is Top Rated, but 99% of those are super recent with not that many votes, and although it's nice to see new videos, I get a craving for those old edits that once blew my/everyone else on NS's mind.

Just for edits from 6 months ago that are impossible to find, or even some from last year that were amazing. Has this ever been discussed?

are you saying we need another video section? how would this work? I mean ya there have been great edits. If you like it so much bookmark it or something. It's not easy to keep old edits recent.

not necessarily. I'll try to think of one, but some of the older edits from years past don't show for me anymore.

And yes I am asking for another section, because i'm actually willing to take the time to click the 4 buttons necessary to get to the most viewed to find old edits that i thought were cool. I'm not saying it should be a default section or anything

And lastly, there are options, it just comes up defautly as by day so people that check it on the daily have some variety.

I understand your point, but scroll through the whole first page, maybe even 2, and there is maybe 1 video that is more than 2 months old.

Then a better suggestion then a whole addition revamp to the new video section is a category for "year".

That or you could just bookmark the really old edits you like.
