Sticky macbook keys

creighton spilled beer on my macbook

the faunt did not get bigger

now the keys are sticky

anyone have any experience with this? sticky keys are super annoying

A few summers ago I bought a laptop (Toshiba Satellite), three days after buying it I spilt beer all over it and destoryed it, warranty void. Shit. I was making good money at the time (and was having a bit of a love affair) so I was all NBD. You should be lucky the beer didn't destroy the laptop and all you have to deal with are sticky keys.

get some computer cleaner things and see how they work or get one of those keyboard covers

oh ya. we were playing tony hawk for n64 and the controller hit the bottle. it was one of these bad boys

i flipped the laptop instantly and drained the beer out, but this morning its sticky as fuck. im gonna look into keyboard cleaners i guess

IDK the degree of stickiness, but you could forcibly tap the fuck out of each key.

like the guy above said. Clorox wipes work the best. I used them when i spilt coffee on mine

yeah i was gonna try that as well, but the beer literally went into the computer, under the keys etc. so when i press them down, they either click, dont go all the way down, or they stay depressed and rise slowly

yep, just like me.

it is kinda time consuming, but i used a toothpick to move around and like scrub underneath the keys. it was the only way that worked for me.
