Really wasn't sketchy.
The astro turf was just there to help keep the snow from melting. It's not what they skied on.
They shipped in some crazy amount of snow like 100 tons they were saying.
Ive had three pairs mounted by them (4 mounts total). Super compitent tech staff. Cheaper then alpine and alpine fucked up my buddys mount. Used a plastic insert to fix the thread hole they stripped. Didnt tell him about it and his heel piece blew off the next season. I only go to Ski Pro for mounts now.
I actually was sponsored by Alpine in high school and I have to say this is a rare occasion. I've had four or five pairs mounted there and all have been solid as a rock. On the contrary, I used Ski Pro before I got hooked up with Alpine and blew a heel-piece once because they miss-drilled the back two holes. So it really goes both ways. If you go into Alpine though on 32nd and Shea, ask for Bernie, Tim, or Alan (the owner) and tell them Zach and Gino sent you. You'll definitely get taken care of and they'll make sure you get a good mount done. Also, who knows, you might get a discount too.
Ha yes, that would me. I actually think the vids on still here somewhere if you dig around the video section. But good deal with the job. All those guys are so chill. I'll have to drop by when I'm back in town in December.
