how many of these concerts could you go to consecutive nights in a row, and still think its the best thing ever. probably not many.

the best concert i went to was phish 3rd night of them and only them playing dicks sporting goods park denver.

I'm sure gonna try. I really want to be there, but I don't know where I'm going this winter. If I drive west I probably won't because I doubt I'll have money for a plane ticket.

I missed pretty much the whole flaming lips show at nateva. Some people were fucking with me and came after me while I was really high. I freaked out and ran into the rv park. Sat under someones diso ball for most of the show. That was the place to be anyway though. That was the last weekend I got spun actually.

What do you mean?

I could go every night for months and still have fun and love each night. It being the best depends on the overall experience for me. The music def at the top, but a lot of things at to it. The friends, the vibe, the general magic.


If I had the loot I probably would have been at a show everyday from mat till early sept. And then pretty much everyday in october.


Unfortunately I became poor for the final time at the beginning of august. May-July was unreal though.Then I wooked my way to a couple shows and fests in sept.


Kid of sucks to have all these good shows in rocktober and not have the funds to go though.

Tipper at Sonic Bloom and when he came to SLC
Crystal Castles in Austin
Nocturnal Festival in Texas: Ghostland Observatory, Bassnectar, Feed Me, Crystal Castles, Zeds Dead, Excision, Tipper, Big Gigantic, STS9, Eskmo, and more. Such a fun weekend, perfect sized festival except for bassnectar which was super crowded.

Portland is dope. Def wanna go back there. I dig having a theater with a balcony but still having some ga floor space. Also the bar there right in the back was super convenient, and 3$ beers, can't go wrong.

I hear you about bassnectar. That crowd at summercamp was unreal. Couldn't even move anywhere. I just moved on pretty quick. The show at bisco was packed but at least you could walk by it. I hate complete clusterfuck crowds. And bassnectar isn't my favorite shit anyway

i also saw method man, redman, ghostface and inspectah deck in a super small venue. those dudes put on an absolutely incredible show. method man front flipped into the crowd and we managed to pass him a blunt. shit was legit

If you ever hit any dave shows on the east, def if you hit spac let me know.

I'd be down to give him another shot if I could go with a few people who aren't completely bro'd out. And hopefully get lucky and avoid people puking on each other and passing out all day.

I was pissed I missed TR3 at mountain jam this year. We were still in route during his day set. I feel like if I knew dave and tim were playing somewhere together I could go regardless of the crowd.

i saw dave in hartford every year from like 03-09, as well as dave and tim two or three times. unfortunately he didn't tour last year and now i moved, but those shows were so damn fun

Id love to make it out to SPAC at some point. I have heard that the bro's come out in full force there though, but I feel like it cant be much worse than Alpine.

Though #1 priority is the Gorge as soon as I graduate college. Because that place looks like the coolest venue on earth.


Assuming a regular tour next summer ill be doing Alpine and Deer Creek for sure. Maybe Cuyahoga or something if I can fit in/afford a 5th show. Hopefully it will be a real tour again and not more Caravans.

soundset has to be on top for me, been to a fair share of concerts but nothing can compete with doomtree, atmosphere, brother ali, de la soul, zion i and more all in the same day.

Goo Goo Dolls at the Hard Rock in Biloxi was pretty good.

Dropkick Murphy's and Flogging Molly in Poughkipsee on 2 different occasion was pretty legit too

I was only close 1 night. I was too busy seeing other bands to hold down a spot the other nights in chicago. But hopefully it'll be a real tour this year with assigned seating. Yay for warehouse seniority.

I missed this show because of Finals. I was so bummed. It was in Vancouver too, would have been such a sweet trip.
I wish I saw the London show where Gilmour played on Comfortably Numb, and Mason showed up for Outside the Wall.

 i saw Death From Above 1979 last night in Toronto

and it was ridiculous.  
3 songs in i was completely soaked with sweat (others and my own).  it was like standing in the atlantic ocean during a storm.

I saw Foo Fighters on Thursday night. Hands down, greatest concert I've ever been to. Their set was almost 3 hours. Each song was just amazing, and even a few acoustical songs with just Dave Grohl ( his last acoustic dog was Times Like These, which he played, then the band joined in on the full stage to finish the song). Absolutely amazing. I love that band

I won tickets to that show, and thought it kind of sucked. Cage the elephant killed it so fucking hard, but 3 hours for the foo was a bit much. The acoustic set was pretty damn cool, but I wasn't very stoked for the rest of it.
