FCP X is for absolute noobs who don't know how to use advanced editing software. The Mac Pro I work on here has both AP CS5.5 and FCP X and I wouldn't even open FCP X...
...that said, FCP 7 is my favourite to use, hands down. Fantastic program.
why the bump?
anyways, does anyone run fcp7 on lion? i heard it doesn't work so well. and i tried fcpx and it was fucking brutal so i'm using premiere, but when i got a mac i wanted to try fcp.
...I was actually having this debate today with some guys I'm working on a film project with over what we should edit in, so I figured I'd searchbar it.
after editing for a few months with both, adobe cs5.5 is miles better then FCPX no question, i love CS5.5 its awesome, i torrented it, i want to buy it soon though and support adobe for such an awesome product, but idk when ill buy it haha dont have that money
ahhh!! that does look awesome! i am really stoked on the color program! definitely something i will start using here and there along with my final cut pro 7. if apple doesnt deliver anything promising to answer that i am definitely going to work on switching over. i love the integration of after effects and photoshop with premiere so now with the color grade whatever it was called, that is pretty much all i could ever want!
Good lawd! I had seen a video of just the new premiere, but they didn't mention speedgrade or prelude, both of which have been things I've been wanting in the suite. 3D tracker in AE is also very wild... Can't wait to get my hands on cs6.
