What is this effect called?

I wanna create that effect in AE or motion, but since i don't know the name of it, i can't search for a tutorial about it. i'm sure there are hundreds of tutorials on youtube... how do you call that "wipe"?

its just a basic transition.  You could mask it in After Effects or Motion frame by frame.
Not quite sure if it has a name though..

its a simple transition once you rhotoscope out the edge and replace it with the next shot
