Did anyone else see this?  It was weird how there were several scenes from the trailer that were changed or gone.  The plot was also changed from the first two movies.  I won't go into specifics to avoid spoilers but a big event that was mentioned in the first and second movies (and also shown in the trailer) was completely gone.

Anyway, how did you guys like the movie?

I saw it last night. Really hope there is a 4th one. It was one of the scariest movies i have seen but there were alot of laughs too, loved it. last scene is fucking gnar

Meh, there is no way there won't be a 4th one. I thought the movie was good but I fucking hate when producers pretty much tell you there is going to be another sequel.

The fan camera made me want to punch myself.

I thought the first one was good, and the second one wasn't scary at all. Pretty stoked to see the 3rd since everyone seems to like it.

first two blew dick, I won't be rushing to see it. It's like somebody took the blair witch project and set it in a haunted house instead with a better camera and a dude that knew how to use it right.

SPOILERS AHEAD!!!
Paranormal Activity 2:  The girl from the first movie has a sister.  Her sisters family starts getting haunted.  Doors move and a pot falls on a counter.  The sister gets drug into the basement then she is possessed.  The only way to make her un-possessed (real word) is to make the demon go from her to her sister (girl from the first movie.)  This is where the first movie takes place.  Once the lady from the first movie is possessed she goes and kills her sisters family and snatches their baby up.  The End.

Paranormal Activity 3:  This one takes place while the sister from the first two movies are kids.  I will call the girl from the first movie girl 1 and the girl from the second movie girl 2.  Girl 2 has an imaginary demon friend named Toby.  More doors open and Girl 2 walks around all possessed.  Girl 1 and an older dude play bloody marry and stuff falls over.  Once they realize they are being haunted they go to grandmas house.  Grandma is some sort of devil worshiper.  She has and old-folks home in her garage and some creepy-ass art.  Grandma kills mom and dad.  The End.

You guys claiming any of the movies to be terrible obviously have very short attention spans and don't appreciate a slow build, suspense, or subtlety. People who don't enjoy these movies are either scared, or don't allow themselves to engage/aren't willing to suspend disbelief. I would guess that those who didn't like them probably have generally awful taste and probably liked Transformers or some dumb shit.

Not to say these movies don't have their problems, flaws in logic, etc., but they are like roller coaster rides and are a good time.

the third one was the worst one yet. i wasnt scared the entire time. i just freaked out at the end when spoileer: he got wrecked by toby and his back was fucking ruined.

that fan camera was the worst part about the movie to. so fucking annoying. it would pan left and right and nothing would happen and you would sit there for 30 seconds waiting for something and nothing happened. worst time spent in a movie.

damn i just read all the comments in this thread and people think this was the best one. i wasnt scared at all not enough happened i thought. also the trailer made it look way better than it really was. they left so much stuff out from the trailer that it ended without those scenes and i was kinda upset.
