I have been chillen in Burlington, VT for the past 4 years skiing at Stowe and Sugarbush doing a lot of park oriented skiing while getting into the woods when it was good.
I am moving to Jackson Hole and am looking for a pair of obnoxious fat rockered skis to charge some powder on. I want something stiff enough to blast through the choppy stuff, but I also want something light enough that would be comfortable to spin on a backcountry booter. I was looking at Volkl Chopsticks, K2 Hellbents, and Surface New Lifes. I own a pair of Ninthward THA 187's and will be converting those to my slackcountry skis.
