Replying to Wanting to get back into tricks
Hey guys, first post here on Newschoolers and I figure this is what Im most curious about. So, Im a sophomore in college at Iowa, makes it a little difficult to ski. However I still go as much as I can, including going out west every winter. When I was in 7th grade and just starting to get okay at some smaller tricks, having loads of fun, I took a jump out in Winter Park, ski didnt release and I wound up breaking my femur. I dont recommend doing this as it is incredibly painful, but Im sure some of you already have. Since then I have been real shy of doing anything like that again. Ski blacks, Im good with that, most double blacks blah blah. Anywhoo, just started doing jumps again last year and feeling okay at them, but kickers still scare the living shit out of me looking in perspective. What Im trying to ask is how should I really break my hesitancy toward this area of skiing and really get back into it? Itll just be so much fun if I can get back into it.
