my girlfriend- My T2i with my 17-50 non vc. at first, it was a wonderful thing, full of features and incredibleness. now, it's a trusty tool, with limitations i understand and have learned to work with, as well as being a prized possession and one of the objects i worry over the most.
my cat- any L series lens. this is more physical in meaning, she's black with a red collar. she just looks like an L series lens haha.

my friend that is a girl but not a girlfriend- A rangefinder loaded with black and white film. simple and elegant, functional, and something people with no interest in photography might not find as cool as i do.
my old friend that became a doucher- my transcend 16 gb card that corrupted on me, when i got it, it was great, class 10 and all. we had some good times, i didn't back up everything, and unfortunately, it turned on me and lost me a lot of good footage. now i warrantied it and i have a new one, but i'm a lot more wary around it.
my ex girlfriend- a point and shoot with lots of cool gimmicks- sounds great on paper, looks good, but when you get down to it it's full of limitations, too simple, and none of the gimmicks work like advertised.
I don't know why i'm posting this, but i thought it was kinda weird and neat, so i figured i'd share.
