I liked the peaceful vibe, scenery, and some of those colors looked great.
A couple of tips:
- Use an ND filter, lowest ISO, or slightly higher aperture in the brighter shots to get a longer exposure to show some motion blur (people jumping around without it looks odd, especially the one around 0:20)
- The star shot at 0:56 could've used a faster interval of shots to prevent the stars from jumping, while keeping them from trailing. Similar goes for the last shot with the clouds in the sky.
thanks for the tips rob, I didn't think of using a longer exposure on the hiking but that would help. It took a while for me just to turn the focus off so hopefully next time I'll start to remember to use longer exposures.
^and yes you should get out there! Best part of Oregon. If Joseph had any jobs I would move there in a heartbeat
