why does it matter if he buys his jacket from a ski company or a snowboard company, when you buy the jacket all you do is help the people in the company make money, they dont just turn around an give the money to "the ski industry" and causewell/surface is the same people as signal snowboards, salomon makes snowboards as well. unless you are buying something from a small company like on3p they are probably connected to a snowboard company as well.

dude, why do you need to know, it's a snowboard jacket, you cant ski in that !

thats the whole point of having ski-jackets and snowboard-jackets, its just physically impossible to ski in snowboard clothing !
