I am very disappointed.. Its really not worthy to say its a reference to Hot lunch..but they do make it; the 'check out the crocs' thing, the tittle.. it made me sad..
This movie is more an ad for windells (and surface)really..and I knew this was gonna happen when Surface bought Joystick; almost all surface sponsored skiers use [are sponsored by] joystick..not cool!! You cant buy a brand with a face and do this..you are killing the brand!!!
:(
The Joystick team was originally just friends of Anthony when he started up the whole company, if the riders also ride for Surface and Causwell, so be it
I would have to disagree.. I think they did a pretty good job making sure it was a reference to hot lunch. What was so refreshing about hot lunch was teh laid back vibes, music choice, and progressive skiing. I think sack lunch incorporates all of these..and the style of the filming/ editing is similar. Def the best edit i've seen in a while..some really good skiing set to good music..
That was really nice. That's the kind of flowy park skiing I like, without the forced thuggery.
But, contrary to the title, it was not like hot lunch. No road tripping, no pow, no Tony. Guess that's why it's called sack lunch. When you can't have a hot burger or chili or something the next best lunch is a home packed sammy.
Nailed it. Nothing is better than a hot lunch, we all know that. A nice big sandwich and some fruit by the foot is a good consolation prize though for sure! +K!
Made in 2 minutes in. Expected to be at least kind of Hot Lunch ish. Was pretty turned off by the first guy as he kinda sucked. Maybe I will give it a chance some other time. Kinda just made me sad that they will never make a sick movie like Hot Lunch again.
