I was looking to make a summer set up this year and i cant afford fake snow and there's no ice rinks near by anyone got some solutions that i can ski on (other than soap and water) and if you guys got eny ideas on what type of rail i should build i have a whole bunch of scrap metal to use. should a rail be square or curricular?
Make as much as the drop in as possible out of PVC because it slides so fast and then your jump (which will be turf) will slow you down. If you have a lot of metal make several rails. Single barrel, double barrel, flat down, just go nuts the more features the better. We used PVC for our rails and it slides surprisingly well. You might actually want to use PVC because I heard metal feels "stickier" in summer.
