It's time for an NSG rant

so here's the story: So there's this girl I've know for a real long time and we've been friends, but I've always been attracted to her a little bit. A couple of nights ago at a party we danced for hours, had such a great and made out at the end. So today I finally made my move and asked her out and she says that she really wishes she could but since she kinda has a rep for dating a couple of guys in a pretty short time and therefore some of her other guy "friends" call her a whore. My thing is if you don't really want to be called a whore, then why the fuck do you go have a one night stand with a guy and the just leave. Now she just says that she wants to go back to being friends like we were before and I dont know if I can... /rant

You could have bad breath. You may be a bad kisser. You may not have turned her on. You may be annoyingly affectionate. You may not be affectionate enough.

It could be you. Think about it.


OR..... She is seriously worried about her reputation. She's trying to fix it and she slipped up. She figures you are a good enough friend that you wont be spreading the rumors around that it happened. Suck it up and be a friend. Or stop being her friend and tell everyone and let it totally backfire. Then sleep with a different skank and get an sti. Then get your friend drunk, sleep with her again and give the sti to her. Then blame her for it saying that you have only slept with her in the last year and she will be mortified entirely. Then tell her you still accept her and would like to take her out on a date. Since she will have no friends and no prospects she will likely be totally down.

i had to wait a while with my girlfriend for this very reason. we were friends for a year and developed feelings but she had a boyfriend so we had to wait and then keep it secret for a little while until she had broken up with him and it had blown over and now we're together, but girls really care about that shit and they don't want it to look like they jump between relationships. girls are annoying and dumb about so many things, you just gotta accept it, but i'm sorry that things aren't working out with her. it's silly, you should be with her if you like eachother, who cares what the other girls say

Dude being young sucks dick. Like idk just thinking back to it i know how you feel but now it's like making out with a girl is just so inconsequential its crazy. Girls suck and they make excuses like i don't wanna look like a whore to tell you, I got a little tipsy off four wine coolers and made out with a guy friend and don't want to do it again. Hate to bring the truth down on you but move on to the next one.

Im sure much of what i'm about to say has been said but ill add my $.02

So from I read it seems as this girls like to have a fun and hook up. With this being said, I don't think that she actually is denying you of that first date because she doesn't like you. From the way you described her she doesn't seem like a person who's interested in a relationship as she has a "rep of being a whore." What I believe is that you have some kind of intimate connection with her but I don't think it will amount to anything sort of dating.

If I were in your shoes I would keep being friends, you'll probably hook up again.
