I would be nicer to you if you were not so aggressive here. You are the "fucking idiot."
-Human lives are ALWAYS more important than ANY animals lives.
-56 animals escaped
-6 were rescued successfully
-You know nothing about tranquilizing animals. Thats not how it works (bear tranquilizers), so you should probably shut the fuck up. The people from the zoo that tried to tranquilize the animals explained the difficulties (dosages per animal and weight and breeds etc and aggressiveness of the animal, NPO status, rain/dark/scared animals/uncontrollable circumstances out in the field, MULTIPLE animals limited staff).
-One big cat ate a monkey. The guys body was also bitten by a large cat. The animals were not kittens. They certainly could have hurt someone.
-Two were killed by cars. Thats a much better death than execution right? We should just let them wander onto 71 and die an agonizing death?
-It was almost dark, rainy, and these are country cops with NO tranquilizers. People from the zoo came and attempted to help, but it just doesn't work like that. They captured what they could, including attempting to tranquilize a tiger which promptly went crazy and had to be put down. Maybe we should let your brilliant self out there with tranquilizers and capture a shitload of tigers and lions in the dark?
-Multiple people in the nearby neighborhoods had encounters with wild animals. Not everyone gets an instant message to just stay inside. How the fuck does that work? Just all of a sudden notifying everybody in the county and nearby counties to stay inside? The elderly, people with the TV or radio not on? Because what would actually happen is we would tell everyone possible to stay inside until the animals are captured, the animals would promptly scatter, and the next week or more they would try to hunt all the animals down. With no one walking outside of their house. Or rather, someone who did not hear the message would walk outside and get mauled. Or the animals would suffer out in the cold and rain. I don't understand this option really.
-Jack Hanna defended the police.
Perhaps the more important issue here in Ohio is we have no laws regarding owning these animals. If you are going to have a bleeding heart over the very very sad shooting of the animals, perhaps you should address the fact that this mentally ill, recently out of prison on gun charges redneck should not own 18 bengal tigers, 17 lions, mountain lions, grizzlies, black bears, wolves, leopards, great apes, etc.
