Well i didnt post it i bumped it
youre missing my question.
dude....
there is a big difference between homeschooled and taking online course's.
homeschool, you are not enrolled in any school board, where as online, you are.
just cause you do work at home, does not mean you are homeschooled.
if thats the case, then i was "homeschooled" for at least half of my
post secondary career, cause i took all my electives online.
i never said he wasnt right, what i was asking is if you do not have a
transcript, because you dont have a gpa, because you were homeschooled, does that
now mean that a university will accept you solely on your SAT scores?
i took architectural engineering at a college in toronto. there was a kid in my
program who was the first ever student to be accepted into the college who was
homeschooled. Since he didnt have any marks from a registered provincial school
board, they made him take a whole bunch of highschool equivalency tests to get
into the college. which in my mind, completely defeats the purpose of being
homeschooled in the first place.
again, what i am wondering, and no one has answered, is does every school use a
similar practice? or can homeschooled kids be accepted to post secondary
without any sort of marks or scores?
