Mounting JJ Question

Hey guys- so I bought a pair of 185 JJ's with a pair of marker jesters off ebay a season ago. I'm a small guy tho, so im thinking of remounting with a pair of griffons (shave off some weight), but mainly b/c I want to ski slightly more centered. Is it worth remounting? Has anyone else mounted JJ's slightly more forward- do you advise it?

I have mounted JJs slightly further forward than recommended. I thought it worked a bit better when doing switch pow. The one thing that I noticed is that the ski didn't seem like it was quite as edgy and manuverable on harder snow. The tails would always wash out as a result making the ski feel much more pow specific.

So I wouldn't recommend it. The JJs ride great switch at 5cm back.

Agree with everything said above.  I have mine mounted at recommended and they ride great.
