Replying to Hidden gems in NYC

I'm headed into manhattan this weekend with my girlfriend and i was wondering if anyone whos there often or who lives there has any cool suggestions. ive been a bunch of times, and have been to soho to shop, times sqaure etc, and i know some restaurants that are awesome in the meat packing district and little italy etc, but if anyone has any unique or "hidden gems" or anything id love to hear it. I was thinking about going to the laugh lounge then to beauty and essex for a few drinks one night. I also wanna try out please dont tell too.
