NS: What career interests you?

I'm currently studying economics, but I'm still unsure what career I want to obtain.
The reason I decided to pursue economics is because I'm interested in how the world operates and it seems like a pretty versatile degree.

Not knowing what you want to do in the future sure is frustrating, but I'm sure there's loads of you folks in the same boat.

Now I ask NS; what career interests you and how do you plan on reaching your goals?

shoddy materials are an engineers fault, unless the workers decided to use something different.

and I don't think you know what you're talking about, did you actually read any of those?

all directly engineering faults. and that's only a small portion.


I'll agree though that for all the faults they do, they also do some amazing work. Just to say they're saints who don't make errors is just false.

how is a structure collapsing not a failure. Everything was done exactly to engineers specs and every step of the way approved, absolutely no building errors. The thing falls collapses under its own weight. That is a massive engineering error.


Second is engineering fault for not looking at the obvious and making a building more unstable in the event of an earthquake.

fuck, even Titanic is an engineering disaster. If they designed it so the dividers along the ship were sealed at the top instead of only going halfway up, then only one compartment of the ship would have been filled with water and it would be sealed. the ship would not have sank like it did and everyone would have been rescued in time.

you can tell an engineer/engineering major from a mile away. they'll be the ones who have literally nothing to say except how hard their work is, how shitty and useless other kinds of work are, and how superior to everyone else theyve convinced themselves they are. you guys need a cage where you can just circle jerk together, then re-enter public space once you promise you won't bore one more person half to death with stories about your work like youre the only people in the world that have to work hard
