What are your thoughts on this? I was looking at world stats and since 1970 the worlds population has nearly doubled. I mean what is going to happen in say 25 years when we have 10 billion people? just something interesting i think.

best solution imho => raise wellfare of development countries and spread awareness, theres a distinct relationship between wellfare and the number of offspring one produces....

also looking at numbers from countries like japan who have a history of "population control" a huge factor is the social status and mindset of the people, if you know that on your old day you'll be taken care off, you won't feel the need to produce more offspring to secure your future....

so in basic => get africa and other shithole countries out of the depression they're in and i'm sure we'll level out our population ....

yes, but population growth is logistic function not an expotential, it starts as exponential to begin but the population will not exceed 10 billion because the resources of the world will hold it at that.

You guys can fight it all you want, think about sweet humanitarian ideas that are both fiscally and logistically impossible, try and hug it out, or do whatever else it is that gives you a warm fuzzy, but at the end of the day math is gonna win, and math says a lot of people are gonna die.

Shit, allmost all the people who have these save the world ideas are complete fucking retards. They want to end hunger and then go protest Monsanto and their GMO's, and preach going organic. News flash, without GMO's atleast 1/3 of the world will starve to death. Won't be anyone who works for Monsanto though...

Simply put, people are going to die (well duh), and poor people are going to do most of the premature dying. As a rich person, I am pretty cool with that.
