JIberish Winter Drop #1

To kick off the season we will be offering the first shipment of Winter goods online starting on Saturday October 22nd at ABSTRACTmall.com. Due to the size of the range we split the Winter drop into 2 dates. The first drop will include some of our hooded sweatshirts, crewnecks, tees, and some jackets. These items will also start to arrive at official Jiberish retailers in North America, Europe, and Asia in late October/early November. The full collection of drop 1 can be viewable at www.ABSTRACTmall.com on Thursday October 20th, 2 days prior to the online release.

Products from drop 1 will be available at Jiberish LoHi, at Jiberish Vault, and at www.jiberish.com starting on November 5th. Stay tuned for more information on drop 2 in the coming weeks.

Just got my lohi in today, I do like it but i feel a small rant coming..

I have been a long time Jiberish buyer, always love their stuff. However, the one point of frustration for me has always been the ribbing....they just can't seem to get it right. This years ribbing is far better then last years, but i don't feel like that is saying much because last years was horrible. It is definitely tighter but the back of the hoodie still hangs down like 6in lower then the front. Also, it is still wavy where the hoodie fabric is sewn to the ribbing. Not really a rant i guess, just bummed, feel like the ribbing is a step backwards from the savings and loans and chambreezy.

as someone who has made custom hoodies -

getting the right ribbing is hard. some people like it really tight. some people like it somewhat loose. no matter how you make it, people will complain. it's going to be wavy where it's attached to the body, it's ELASTIC. anything elastic will scrunch up. and the back is supposed to be longer than the front, to "keep your ass warm." it used to say something like that on the old site. i personally like the longer fit in the back.

I get that man, and its all fine. I understand some people like different stuff than others. Just not what i like thats all. Also I feel there is a huge difference between the standards of a actual street wear brand and some kid making custom hoodies.

i understand, i'm just saying that having made hoodies before personally and getting feedback on them i feel my input is sort of relevant. obviously not on the scale of jiberish's but i can relate to some of their problems.

The ribbing still is fairly loose :( that's why i threaded a shoelace through it. Giving me the ability to tighten it to my liking :)

unexpectedly got my lohi today, and of fucking course there's a stain/tear in the wrist... the fit is absolutely perfect, so much slimmer than last year, and the ribbing is perfect, it was such a buzzkill to see the flaw on the wrist.

I mean yes, for Jiberish I would not expect something like this to occur, it is a fit and finnish issue that reflects on their brand. But think about from their point of view/ bigger perspective. Most of these kids are gonna wear their hoodies skiing, and a little snag on the wrist is bound to happen by just wearing a hoodie no matter what. Just get a pair of scissors and trim that shit down, it would cost them alot to not sell those "flawed" hoodies. It's not really that big of a deal, but I understand all of your disappointment.

I would like to comment that my XL lohi has the greatest fit of a hoodie, ever. I've owned lots of hoodies from multiple companies and Jiberish got the fit spot on this year. The pocket seems a little small though.
