JIberish Winter Drop #1

To kick off the season we will be offering the first shipment of Winter goods online starting on Saturday October 22nd at ABSTRACTmall.com. Due to the size of the range we split the Winter drop into 2 dates. The first drop will include some of our hooded sweatshirts, crewnecks, tees, and some jackets. These items will also start to arrive at official Jiberish retailers in North America, Europe, and Asia in late October/early November. The full collection of drop 1 can be viewable at www.ABSTRACTmall.com on Thursday October 20th, 2 days prior to the online release.

Products from drop 1 will be available at Jiberish LoHi, at Jiberish Vault, and at www.jiberish.com starting on November 5th. Stay tuned for more information on drop 2 in the coming weeks.

i never said nor implied that i was special for having the catalog, in fact, i was not just keeping this to myself, i helped out anyone who asked for it. i don't believe that people who have seen the catalog feel that they are "special" that they have the catalog. i realize that i am just adding to this terrible thread, but so are you, so please shut the fuck up

It was also announced in the twitter post that it was the choppin wood...personally i think that that piece looks like it is gunna be pretty nice, can't wait to see the lookbook of the actual line that they said would be released between the 2 drops so all this bitching can be over and the actual colors/designs/fabrics/pieces can be seen

yeah i feel like i'm gonna like this drop a lot more when i see actual pictures.  the lookbook has just renders/drawings and some of the pieces look a little too cartoony.  but i'm sure i'll love way too many of them and blow my whole paycheck on jiberish haha.

fabric bought not in bulk (only 300 of each hoodie made) = added expense

paying hours for their designers, retail store workers, shipping workers, and laborers who actually make the pieces = added expense

paying for shipping of materials to the factories in japan (i think) and from that factory to denver/PC = added expense

you guys realize that to make a single hoodie with sweatshirt material costs like 50 dollars. that's not including the hours of labor in multiple areas that jiberish has to pay people for. yes they buy in bulk but not on the scale of other companies. they don't make as much money as you think. i read a post of pete's somewhere that said if he wanted to get rich he could make thousands of each hoodie. you guys saw how fast the 4XLs sold out, obviously people are buying them for that price.

i can barely afford a lot of their stuff (have 1 hoodie and 1 crew) but i think it's stupid when you say their prices are high. plus you can sell it for like 10 dollars below retial, and sometimes more.

How come this comes up every fucking drop? Jiberish is a streetwear company, and if you look at the prices of some other streetwear companies, their pricing is pretty on point. Diamond Supply Co hoodies cost anywhere from like $70 to $90... Supreme hoodies will run you $100+ and their resale prices are through the fucking roof. So quit complaining - if you want cheap hoodies, go to Wal-Mart.

its not that high.

But you're right, through their design process and attention to detail in materials and design they cost way more than your average hoody, but feel and look better too.

Plus, you are paying for the jiberish name, which they had to build and invested 1000s of hours into, its something i'm willing to pay for. As in every other legitimate street brand you pay for a brand name, its the way it goes, everyone who bitches about prices in this thread is honestly a fucking idiot.

Only exception is shipping to CA, it did seem a bit high...

i'm talking like one single homemade hoodie. i can go to joann fabrics and sweatshirt material is 12.99 per yard. you need at least 2 and a half yards to make a hoodie, and then ribbing, zippers, drawstrings, embroidery, etc. if you want them will cost more.

my last one cost me 37 dollars with 50 and 40 percent off coupons, although i did have some extra fabric.

to be honest you're paying way too much, and they buy their material and have it manufactured in bulk, which makes things alot cheaper.

There is a massive difference in cost per unit when making 1 hoody, and 1000. My blanks cost me about 20$ and then after embroideries and screen printing they're like 35 all in, i have no idea why you are spending 37 on a simple cut and sew.
