GoPro Flat lense

Has anyone used these? here is one of them that is popular eyeofmine.com/gopro/underwater/. all the underwater shots in this video are with a flat lens. http://vimeo.com/30291111

The nimbus Ak video (http://vimeo.com/29021257) shows the flat lens as well. The footage looks so sick. Anybody here use em?

i thought there was one version that allowed you to attach threaded filters, but i may be wrong, it may just be a diy
