Hey sorry about the possible pointless thread but couldn't find an answer while searching.
I am 5.8 and 150 pounds and looking at buying a pair of the line opus. I'm heading to Japan for a season and this will be my pow and all mountain ski. I am wondering if the 178 is going to be too small? do lines skis usually measure longer or shorter?
I should point out that where I am going there is likely to be lots of snow, but not very steep and lots of tight trees. I was thinking that due to the longer running length it might be all good? But if im going to have a hard time keeping the tips up then there is no point getting them.
How will a 178 opus compare to a 183 chet or 185 JJ?
Like I said above im 5.8, 150 advanced skier, skiing deep but not very steep lots of trees and BC jibbing pillows ect
