hey ns, what is your favorite drink to get at starbucks?

my local coffee shop is closed for the week since they are going on vacation and i need my coffee.

i really dont like starbucks but it is my only other option now.

im looking preferably for an iced drink, since i make my own in the morning

Get a large black coffee.

But I don't know if you can order that because Starbucks tends to specialize in the milk/cream with sugar business that has a hint of coffee.

Not a huge coffee drinker, so when I hit up starbucks I normally get their iced green tea & lemonade, delicious for sure.

first time in north america and what do i do first? get a large coffee from starbucks. WTF is wrong with people who buy that shit?? a shit load of burnt froth, burnt milk, some shit that some retarded people might think is coffee... seriously how did it become so successful??

I used to always go there with my girlfriend. She got some random crap all the time but i was a big fan of their ice water. It is very affordable, nicely chilled, and doesn't hit you too hard with the hidden calories. Someone gave me a starbucks gift card and it honestly seems like it never runs out of money.

Thanks for reading the post. I. Can't stand Starbucks coffe it tastes like shit which is why I do make my own in the morning but I usually stop for a coffee on the way in and that is why I asked about iced coffe so I don't have to taste their shitty coffee flavor as much

I only go to starbucks like once a year since it's so damn expensive. I'd much rather go to tim hortons and get nearly the exact same thing for a quater of the price. But I plan on going today with a friend and I plan on getting a coffee not a frapaccino like I did last time.

The most expensive coffee in the world does not hail from Jamaica or Hawaii, but instead from Indonesia.

Kopi Luwak the most expensive coffee in the world does exist, and those who drink the expensive coffee insist that it is made from coffee beans eaten, partly digested and then excreted by the Common palm civet, a weasel-like animal.
“Kopi” the Indonesian word for coffee along with “luwak” is local name of this animal which eats the raw red coffee beans. The civet digests the soft outer part of the coffee cherry, but does not digest the inner beans and excretes them.

Apparently the internal digestion ends up adds a unique flavor to the beans, removing the bitter flavor, and then beans are then picked up by locals and sold. The most expensive coffee beans can cost up to $600 a pound, and up to $50 per cup, if you can get over the fact that you are drinking such a strange brew.

You would know if you drank the most expensive coffee in the world, because the quantities of it are tiny amounts.

ugh. at least you realize that starbucks coffee is total garbage. im a huge coffee drinker, and by coffee i dont mean mocha triple iced latte capachinos, but just a straight cup of black coffee. upon drinking my first cup of strabucks coffee i was convinced that the people behind the counter had burnt it. gave them the benefit of the doubt, ordered another next week only to find the same flavor. starbucks is the worst coffee ever. it tastes like burnt earth, but its great if you add a million packets of sugar or cream or whatever else they do to make their coffee marketable, but for a nice cup of coffee i will choose dunkin any day of the week.

that being said. good luck to you for the rest of the week! try to order just an iced coffee from them, had a few of those and it was medicore.

you're from englewood? here are 5 of the best coffee shops in Denver, all within 15-20 minutes of you, depending on how you drive.

North of you, on South Pearl and Florida is Stella's.

North and east of there is Pablo's, on 6th and Washington.

North of Pablo's you have St. Mark's, on 17th and Race.

West of Saint Marks, you have Crema, on 29th and Larimer.

Southwest of there, on 16th and Platte, is Happy Coffee, my personal favorite.

Not anymore actually. And none of those are on my way to school. However shitty Starbucks is. After today's experience I will just make my own iced coffe from now on. I now know why the last time I was there was over a year ago.

Swung by the first Starbucks in Finland a few days back, decided to see what the fuss is about and take something I've never had, went with grande(?) size White Chocolate Peppermint Mocha, a tall Double Chocolate Chip Frappucino and a tall cup of joe, made from some Fair Trade beans. My friend had some Iced Green Tea Latte.

I thought the ordering system with the names on the cup was pretty novel and worked well. Although not my cup of tea, both the Mocha and the Frappucino were pretty damn delicious and interesting, while the coffee was very bland, nothing special, and the Iced Tea was pretty atrocious, more of an acquired taste I guess.

All in all, it's at the airport now so it might drive up the ridiculous pricing ($4 for a normal coffee), but they're planning on opening 15-20 shops in the next few years, they'll be a welcome addition here in competition to the other highly overpriced coffee chains.
