Ok, so i have the mile next tuesday and my running shoes are trashed and small for me, i had $112 asics before and didn't like them that much, im looking to improve my time this year by a good amount, what are some light and comfty shoes for running/
Go to a Nike store in your area. When you work for Nike you literally have to go through a boot camp training school thing for fucking shoes. It's crazy how much we learn/know about feet and shoes. I could write three pages so I won't even bother. That'll be your best bet though. Places like foot locker, etc don't ever get trained.
get fulltilts.. but a mile once is prob not worth shoes..if you are gonna start running get shoes..I run in vibram five fingers..they kill it..never get shin splints.
i run every saturday and sunday, because i constantly have sports all season, i usually do 3-4 miles on saturday and 2 on sunday, i have full tilts haha, ill loook them up
yeah kinda said earlier, but go to a running store, you're going to spend the same amount anyway and they can get you shoe that you really like. and if you're really concerned about PR'ing in your mile and you have the use for them, you might was well invest in spikes, they can cut a chunk of time off.
yea i have track cleats with spikes, but are track is getting re-surfaced which takes 2 weeks of no rain or it has to be covered so we will be running on gradd
You could try the New Balance Minimus series. I haven't ran in them, so I can't fully endorse them, but I wore them around and they felt great. They would be really good if you ran a lot of XC also. Or you could always go with the road version.
i have 16 pairs of air max's, which include air max command's, air max 90's, and air max ltd's, their pretty cheap only in the $100-135 range, thanks though but there not for running
go barefoot! ive been barefoot running and hiking (and a lot of other things) for a couple years, and its the best thing thats ever happened to my body.
i asjusted my ski bindings to my bare feet last year, i hit the park for like 1 hr and when i finished my feet were missing all ten toes and my right foot was just gone...
ltd's are the most expensive ones i have 6 pairs of them, never paid over $115 for the ltd's, maybe the air max 95's which are mad ugly and arent good for running, but thanks
lol, theyre the only traditional running shoe that ive ever used that doesnt give me terribad shin splints
maybe you just have a weak body and need a lot of support or something? a lot of support and a stiff sole hurts me because i run on my forefoot, get learned before spouting nonsence guy.
Pretty much anything comfortable. You don't have to spend a ton of money. I don't think I ever had shoes that cost more than 60 and I did fine on the trails.
there bad, im very far from having a week body as i am always in a sport and always exercise daily, i like shoes with a soft sole, not small but big and really cushioned
