i'd say that at least 5% of NS members fall into the 1%
as for the 99%, they are a bunch of sore losers. maybe if they stop protesting and go to work they would have money to pay their bills. even if they do work and pay their taxes, the tax revenue generated by the 99% is chump change compared to what the 1% contribute. let us not forget that we have a progressive tax system in America...while all these commie wannabes are running to the bank to cash their tax return checks, the 1% are busy writing checks to the IRS for exorbitant amounts of money.
don't take the easy way out and side with the losers simply because they constitute the majority...losers give it their best, winners go home and fuck the prom queen
What I find fucked is that they are blaming Wall St. and corporate America. Its the governments fault people.
There is no agenda just hatred. The comparisons to the Tea Party are absurd.
When legalizing gay marriage was being voted on in New York, one of the democrats that voted “yes” was threatened by his political party that if he does vote “yes” he will be dropped of all endorsements and will never serve in politics again. Even after threats, he ended up voting “yes” because that was what the majority of New Yorkers were in favor of, and also because that is what he truly believed in. now his political party followed though with his threats and dropped all endorsements to his future campaigns, and he probably won’t have a future in politics. As you can see, our representatives do not represent us the majority of the time, they represent where their money comes from.
Got any links to prove that? Sounds a little far fetched looking on the outside in. Not doubting, I would just like to read something about this.
"The cultural operating system we have, Consumer Capitalism 5.0 or whatever it is...actually has bugs in it that generate contradictions...such as...cutting the earth from beneath our own feet...poisoning the atmosphere that we breathe. This is not intelligent behavior. This is a culture with a bug in its operating system that's making it produce erratic dysfunctional behavior. Time to call a tech and...the shamans are the techs."—Terence McKenna
"There is only one time in the history of each planet when its inhabitants first wire up its innumerable parts to make one large machine...You and I are alive at this moment."—Kevin Kelly
Inability to accept the mystic experience is more than an intellectual handicap, lack of awareness of the basic unity of organism and environment is a serious and dangerous hallucination.—Alan Watts
Our scientific capabilities have outrun our spiritual capabilities. We now have guided missiles and misguided men.—Martin Luther King, Jr.
None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.—Goethe
As a result of confusing the real world of nature with mere signs such as money, stocks and bonds, title deeds and so forth we are destroying nature. This is a disaster. Time to wake up!—Alan Watts, The Art of Meditation
Those who understand history are condemned to watch other idiots repeat it.—Peter Lamborn Wilson
A human being is part of a whole, called by us the "Universe," a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest—a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.—Albert Einstein
