does this piss off anyone else? At my school there was a protest today at 9 am waking everyone up. These people have no idea what they even are protesting. So annoying. Its literally just a big party for all the hipsters and people who don't contribute to society and are jelous of everyone who actually work hard and make money

Yes, it needs more unifying and organized leadership. The problem lies in the fact that there is so much wrong with the system and what people want changed that many people don't want to have a specific request as (in their mind) that would undermine the overall purpose of the movement. Also, a large purpose of the movement is that everyone's voice is to be spread/heard by this movement, and people don't want a single (or several) head leaders to speak on their behalf.

I'm not arguing for that mentality, just explaining things based off of your post. Personally, I think we need to create a network of local community leaders who can communicate and organize more efficiently between movements. I think there are many strategic non-violent yet effective strategies that could be used that are not being taken advantage of at the current point and time.
