How fast do you go through skis?

i got some 09 invaders and theyve lasted me 2 seasons and still counting.. ive had some trouble with bindings more than skis

5 pairs of amplids from feb-june, get at me. plus a pair of invaders before that

pair every 2 years on average

 To fast. it seems the real ski killers are rails and rocks. i have three pairs of skis, a park ski, resorts pow ski and a Bockcountry ski. i used to need a new park ski every year but i have started riding less park so my current park ski is good to go for a second season.  My resort pow ski get the most wear and tare from rocks. third year on my BC ski, they are in need of replacement. so unfortaily i go threw one or two pairs a year.

Im headed into my 3rd season on my Kung Fujas, next year ill be replacing them, but they have seen very little park, when i rode more park i destroyed skis

I go through about a pair a year, with my Volkl walls about 1/2 way through the year the top sheets were totally messed up but the edges and bases were fine other than some pre and post season core shots. On my armada arv's the top sheets were solid a little chipage but at the end of the season i cracked the base and core. on a corrugated pipe. So it totally depends on how you ski... if you do a lot of cross grabs, hitting big jumps and spinning onto rails and boxes you will go through skis much faster. it also depends on the make of the ski, a crappy ski is going to break a lot faster than a well made one.

Scratch Ghettos still going strong after 3 years, have a tiny amount of exposed edge on one ski and some base gouges, but overall they are still fine. I think I'll get another season or two on them for sure. And I take shitty care of them, ride them into the parking lot at the end of the day and such.
