yeah, my bro just got caught, they smelled it in his truck. took it really well, and told my mom it wasn't me at all or his friends and took all the blame. (i have never smoked) i think i actually gained respect for him somehow lol.

you must have some friends that have been caught. Andi somewhat see your point. Give us a little info into what kind of parents you have. When i got caught i bullshitted that i was like super sad over a girls or something and i got my sentence reduced.

don't lie. Don't tell them it was your first time because then they think you are turning into a bad kid. Helps if you are a good kid, talk about how it is not affecting school grades, attendance. If your parents are the type that get real mad about this then let them get mad. If this is not the case and you are a complete mess of a child, then your parents should have seen it coming anyways so it is really their fault.

At this point in time, it should not be overly hard to convince them.
Its medicine for one, it is none addictive. Use alcohol and cigs as ammo! Both are far worse than MJ.
Ask them if they ever smoked.
You don't smoke a bowl, go for a drive, and kill someone as you potentially would while drinking. There are no cases of cancer from smoking herb.
Ask them if they'd rather you smoke cigs and get wasted ass drunk.
Finally, and this is what stopped my rents from raggin on me, ITS YOUR LIFE. Do what you want.


-course I was 19 when I went through it... Good luck and remember its not the end of the world.

Don't lie it pisses parents off. Just say you rarely do (Don't say it was your first time. Unless they were born under a rock.) and that your grades are still high. You'll be careful but its just a stage all kids go through. They'll be pissed but that will help

My friends parents caught him smoking weed and immediately assumed he was hanging out with gangsters in south Houston. The next morning he was woken up by 2 transporters and taken to montana for his entire senior year.

well, not if you smoke from a vape or edibles or any of that shit, but really any smoke you inhale increases your chances of lung cancer. i know it's not as bad as cigs or anything, but it certainly don't help.

yeah inhaling smoke in any form is definitely not good on the lungs. i'll agree with you there, but do you have any evidence to support your claim of people actually developing lung cancer from marijuana smoke?

personally though, i vape most of my stuff anyway. better for you and more conservative but when i'm in a group setting, it's all about doobies and bong rips

what are your grades like? the reason i ask is bc if you arent an honor roll student you just proved to them why smoking pot is bad (in a parental opinion). i agree just take it. agree with them. then get all 4.0s and keep smoking and the next time they catch you. just say look this is part of who i am and it is not impacting me in a negative way at all. and i use it to control my glaucoma. they will more than understand... also this is the reason y going away to college is a good idea

this and I don't know why people think otherwise, anything you inhale thats not nitrogen, oxygen, or low amounts of carbon dioxide probably isn't good for you.

The only parents that would fall for this crap are either push overs or themselves stoners. "mom why you mad I could be smoking cigs" what kind of logic is that. Good parents don't endorse using any of it Even if they know they can't stop it.

I'm not the one making any claims here. I didn't say anything one way or the other. all I did was ask for evidence.

Stoner science? hahaha you are a dumbass. I didn't present any science or claim that I was presenting facts. All I did was ask questions.



But yes, i acknowledge that inhaling smoke of any kind is bad for you. Different types of smoke have different levels of harm though. For example I know one man who has been a daily weed smoker for 40 years and a man who has been a daily cigarette smoker for the exact same amount of time. They are both in their mid 50s now and the weed smoker is in pretty much perfect health while the cigarette smoker has emphysema so bad that he can't even work anymore.
(And no, I didn't make up this story)

Not true at all. Tobacco growers spray it with shit to keep off insects (http://wiki.bugwood.org/Archive:SEIPM/Tobacco_Insects). All the "chemicals" added by "big tobacco" are in these fertilizers and that's what causes cancer.
