I am 5'11 170lbs and am planning on mounting them either center or very close to center. I've heard great things about the 192. What do you think, too long with the 192 or does the rocker shorten the length of the ski? Whats going to be more fun in super deep pow and more reliable to stomp cliff with?
You are 5'11, that should prob answer this. At the usual lengths of skis at this point in time even a 184 is pretty long for you. The 192 is way way to tall for you
Way way too tall? He'd be perfectly fine skiing 192's.
The 184 would be easier for jibbing and playing around while the 192 will be able to charge a bit more while still retaining playfulness. You'll be fine with either just depends on what you would like to do.
What have you skied on in the 190s lengths? If it were me personally i would go for the 92, but if in reality ur not going to be stomping so many cliffs, and skiing super deep pow, and are going to be skiing a lot of and/or tight trees, the 83 might be the way to go. (I'm 6'0" 190lbs and ski 192 tsts, 192 solly rocker, 185 jj, and soon to be 185 args) length definitely has its place, but it is not skiing trees if ur not SUPER confident carrying speed through tight trees already.
