help with ebay

Alright stupid question, but Someone did a buy it now on my auction, but we both agreeded to cancel the auction, how do i do this on ebay, i can't figure out where to do it.

why did you cancel it? if you agreed verbally or you have emails, maybe you can just not do anything at all. just make sure you don't get bit in the ass if he says you didn't mail the item...

yeah, thats why i want to figure out how to like oficially cancel it, he hasnt paid or anything, he just won the buy it now

i guess it's easier on your part. just be like, well he didn't pay if he was to complain to ebay. who backed out? because if it was you, you could be in trouble now.

you cant cancel it, its a contract, but you can mutually agree to not do anything. But if he/she wants the item you have to give it to them.

you can cancel an order cuz I did it once, you just have to read like help section on ebay

ebay does have a help section. very useful. I guess its kinda like how people never look at the help section here to find out how to post a pic.

Maybe i'm confused, but if the other guy did a buy it now, then you don't have to cancel. The buy it now button automagically cancels the auction.

if he doesnt pay you can file to get a refund of the listing fee, go to the help section

Also, click the community tab, on the main page and there are alot of message boards. Those are very helpful.
