Im just saying the kids who are unpaid volunteers have to go through drug screening however the paid(by cash/goods/etc) employees who are the face of the company dont have to be put through such bullshit.


And if Im not mistaken at least here in PA if you choose to drug test you either do every single person in the company or completely at random- you cant pick and choose who you test.

every employee in the office (paid & unpaid) is. Athletes, like every brand in the world are independent contractors but we'd like them not on PCP also. This wasn't meant to be a discussion just a post for an intern opportunity. If you need more clarification or are interested please email.

Line posted a PSA on an opportunity, one that other NS members have had, and enjoyed. You guys complain because you can't get your artificial high while doing so.

If you value getting high, above gaining experience, and working with a bunch of cool people (they really are!), you would probably be pretty worthless as an employee.

No, I doubt he's preaching drug abstinence to a bunch of newschool freeski kids right in their rebellious testosterone surge. He's just saying that smoking weed before going to work doesn't work well, and if you cant stop from smoking weed for a few weeks, then why are you trying to be a full time employee in the first place. Tons of people work and smoke. I do. I just also realize that if I want to make some money, not get in trouble, and keep my job that smoking can't be my first priority. Seems pretty straightforward, doesn't it....

The whole stept crew does, but thats not the point. Their job is to slay rails and jumps, not work in head office in advertising were you gotta get tasks done to meet dedlines. A lot of employers drug test not only at hiring, but on a regular basis while you work for them.

Clarification for the drug test. It's k2 policy. All employees must submit to a test before they are hired, and that's it. They basically want to see that you are not addicted, and can quit for a few weeks to get clean if you have to

Your company has openly condoned drug use through advertising names such as "Chronic" and "Chronic Blend" specifically targeted to sell to a demographic that uses, enjoys, and identifies with the drug culture.

On top of this, i believe Eric pollard is an employee... and i highly, highly(wink, wink) doubt he would pass a drug test. hell, 95% of your wrok force, if tested tonight, would fail miserably.

Your interview process should be good enough to determine if someone has the motivation and wit to excel at the job; you shouldnt have to rely on a test that reveals nothing about the job seeker other than what he does on his own leisure time, away from work...but i guess you are too damn lazy/stupid to actually do a thorough interview process. aren't stupidness and laziness adjectives used to normally describe drug users??


If engineering firms, and I-Banking firms dont drug test, i see no reason why you should...you hypocritical, corporate, greed mongers.

I guess with this drug policy they cant blame their shitty build quality on the pot smoking interns any more...
