Free tv tuner software for a mac?

I have a TVMicro Express tv tuner and I want to use it on my new macbook pro to watch tv in my dorm. the software it came with is just a trial version (because I used to use it at home), and I can't find any free software that will actually work. I have 14 days left on my trial, but I was wondering if there is any free software that anyone here knows that may work. I also have like $10 on my itunes if there is something in the app store

no one uses these anymore? just netflix and hulu or real tv for you guys?
