Powder Skis help

I know there are a million of these threads, and I've already made a thread about helping me find skis, but I have re-assesed what i want somewhat and have some new additions to some choices of skis.

I weight about 135 pounds and am about 5'11", I live on the east coast, and already have park skis that I also use for just skiing the whole mountain. I'm now looking for a pair pretty much purely powder skis that will be used for trips to places with more snow and if it just absolutely dumps on the EC.
What I like to ski trees, but also like to make wide open turns. I would like something that can is stable, but I'm leaning toward something on the softer side rather than something super stiff. Obviously I would like something that won't be completely useless on hardpack or crud, but I'm not too worried about this because I will mostly be using this ski for powder skiing only.

Alright so here is what I'm looking at;

ON3P Caylors: I've heard nothing but great things about this ski. But I'm just nervous I'm not gonna be about to handle the width of this ski (120 underfoot I think)

Icelantic Nomad: A little skinnier than most of the other skis I am looking at but still looks super legit ski from a dope company

Armada JJ: None of my local shops carry Armada so i havent really gotten to talk to many people about this ski, but it does look sick, if anyone has any experience or info that would be much appreciated.

Line Sir Pollard Opus: Looks really cool, shops haven't got these in yet so dont know much about these either.

K2 Obsethed: Looks pretty cool, havent heard much about them but would like to know more.

JJ best pow ski that's nimble bust still stable on those arc turns. Two more skis you might consider are the Armada TST and the 4Frnt CRJ

The opus is sick for all round. The JJ slays pow but not as good as the opus on all round. That's what all the reviews say but it's close. It's not like unridable outside of pow but the opus eeks it out in that dept. But I've never been on the JJ so it may rock anything. Jus basing that off all the reviews I've read. I do have the opus though and it's way sick. From what I've heard and read though, the JJ is better in pow jus barely and the opus is better all round jus barely. Doubt you'd go wrong with either ski. The bentchetlers are sick too.

go demo the jj, the opus, maybe the tst depending on how much switch your planning on riding (the tst is gonna do well all over the mountain but if youre planning on riding switch in pow alot then your gonna lose out), and maybe the crj (another ski that gets high praise) and see which one you like the best. It sounds like youre gonna want the ski that performs best in pow so demo it on a pow day and see which you like the best

Caylors are my everyday ski. I know I'm a little bit crazy, but trust me, very versatile and super fun ski. Good review of this years model is here:

Well, I would say the Opus's or the JJ's. The Opus will be a bit more playful and better if you like to smear, slash, and get creative with your skiing. The JJ will be a bit better for sendin it on larger features and mobbin shit at higher speed.

So once again, it really does depend on your riding style/preferences.

I just bought JJs. They arrive in a few days. Certainly don't mean to hijack the thread but you guys with JJs.....where did you mount them?

Mount em -2 that'll be perfect for riding switch and you won't lose much skiing forward

Ive skied both the JJs and the Caylors for an entire season.

Caylors blew the JJs out of the water.  I feel like caylors made me a way better skier.  JJs were twitchy and got bounced around, Caylors are stable, blow through anythin, and can carve pretty damn well on groomers.  I could go on.  Caylors are the best ski I've ever been on. 

I haven't skied any of the others on your list though, but have been on many other skis.  PM me if you want any other descriptions of skis etc.

The Opus is one of the most fun skis I've ridden in a while. It's not going to hold up well going 50 mph + through chop but they're pretty damn fun for almost every other application. Trees and deep snow are more fun than ever with this ski.
