A few years ago, Head introduced the Mojo 80, and it was such a good
ski, that it keeps getting released under new names and graphics, hence
the Black Jack 80. This is an all mountain ski that is stiff enough to
handle high speeds and varied terrain, but the twin tip makes it a solid
choice for park dedicated skiers. The wood core gives the ski a smooth
feel when it gets choppy, and the snakeskin topsheet helps the ski look
new, even after seasons of abuse.

not the blackjack per se, but it's the same as the JO pro/Mojo 80 from the year before. The blackjack came out the same year they switched to sidewall construction for the JO/Bullet(that was the new name for the mojo line). The Blackjack was the same cap construction ski that they've made for the 3 seasons prior.
It is a sick ski, ask anyone who's ridden the mojo/JO line when it was still cap. Stiff, lively, tons of pop.
