alright so here is the deal we met on 4th of july this summer. we just clicked but heres the twist im stuck in tahoe while she is in the bay, three hours away. i visit maybe 6 times a month
im crazy for this girl but we are having problems with the whole distance thing.

so, in your experience what would you do

leave the girl because distance blows

or
fight it out only being with each other a couple times a month

Only do the long distance thing if you have a very strong and preferably lengthy relationship, otherwise it creates too much drama and fails at fulfilling that need. Considering you only have a few days under your belt, it would probably be wise to leave it be, except for that occasional taste.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I see my girlfriend who lives 1500 miles away about once every month/month and a half... if you can't deal with three hours and six times a month then fuck you... I'd trade places with you in a heart beat. Also I'm assuming you're younger than I am see I am going to marry my girl, you probably won't so I'd say find a sexy snow bunny in tahoe and leave the girl who bitches about seeing you 6 times a month. I'd make that 3 hour drive any day and every day, you have no idea. Instead I buy plane tickets and take a week out of school and work to see her. She does the same for me, you officially can't complain about your distance "issues", congratulations. Show this post to your lady friend, see if she complains about distance still. If she does drop her like a ton of bricks, if she really likes you/ loves you she will see this and appreciate what you two have and you'll live happily ever after.

i'm across the ocean from my girlfriend. i haven't seen her for 2 months and i won't see her for another 2.5 months yet i'm the happiest i've ever been and i couldn't imagine ending things with her. you're being a pussy. be grateful you get to see her 6 times a month and she's 3 hours away, you could see her even more often than that
