Last year at the beginning of the season I tore my meniscus in my knee and It pretty much prevented me from improving last season at all. I was wondering if anybody knows of any knee stretches or exercises I could do before the season starts. Thought maybe I could loosen it up a little...

make sure you work every muscle in your thigh..if your quads get stronger problems start to occur because it will pull on your tib fib in a much different manner..and increase the likely hood of an acl injuries.. so keep it all even.

i did the same thing and for physical therapy i pretty much rode a bike or ran on the olyptical (cause running is bad for joints, but if you are going to run do it on a track, no cement) and a lot of squats and balance exercises

you should ask your fysiotherapist for specific exercises, but if you're looking for fun all-round excercises that are low impact, give slacklining a try, it might look and feel weird at first but it can improve muscle tone in your legs enormously+ it'll improve your overall balance as well, especially on rails !

get a balance board and do squats and hold them for a minute or so. helps a ton for rails and strengthens all the leg muscles if done right. i do it for my asgood schlatters and it seems to help. and get good and learn tricks for more fun.
