Yeah, no shit fuckface.  You were talking about the American right-wing.  So I provided an example of how conservatives are not a minority in America.

OWS is utterly stupid.  They have no specific goal.  All they have are cardboard signs and free condoms.  Sweet.

Sure there are some people who are working hard and still not getting fair rewards.  However, until the majority of the poor stop being lazy fucks, I'm not going to advocate change. 

Also, part of the problem is that parents are having children that they do not have the financial means to support.  Kids in Africa are starving to death, yet somehow Africa still has extremely high net population growth.  The same thing is occurring on a much smaller scale in America.  Parents are giving birth to children whom they know wont have good opportunities to further themselves.  It's not fiscally viable to attempt to bail out the children of every parent that fucks up, nor would it promote an ethical society (people would be motivated to have kids even if they cant support them because they know the government would help them).

One of the reasons why the income gap is growing is because the poor continue to reproduce at such an alarming rate.   If we actually allowed natural selection to take its course, the income gap would naturally control itself as the lowest income individuals do not replicate themselves into the next generation. 

Even though I disagree with you, I like you a lot.  You're very reasonable.  That's a rare trait on NS.

You're right, I've had very limited experience the nation's poor.  My mom owns a small business and her employee turnover rate is ridiculous.  She hasn't gotten a single MA (medical assistant) to stay with her for more than six months since she started private practice.  Finding qualified MAs to replace the ones that quit is also a significant challenge because many of the applicants have unacceptable issues that prohibit them from being hirable (one applicant had a nose ring and a facial tattoo, others have been denied upon talking with their previous employers).   Given how little people care about keeping their jobs in my limited experienced, I am inclined to believe that a large percentage of the poor are lazy. 

Also, I agree with you that uncontrolled population growth is a problem and that there is no simple solution to solving it.  However, population growth is closely related to income disparities across the world, and it must be addressed when debating how to fix the income gap.
